A stunning stay at the Romeo Collection Naples.
This hotel is by the most special I have ever stayed at. Service of the highest standards and the hotel is simply beautiful.
Rooms - the deluxe rooms as seen in pictures oozed style and were very high end in every feature.
Breakfast - a great selection of buffet options and ability to order fresh items also. Great selection of coffees, teas and juices.
A must stay if you are in Naples - simply astounded by my stay here!
Please see my other review for the restaurant.
We had a wonderful stay at the Romeo Hotel - Naples. Our room was spacious with a wonderful view of the port. It was within walking distance of the historic area and seaport where there are lots of other hotels, shops and restaurants.
The Romeo is a gorgeous hotel with a strikingly modern design. I could spend two days just checking out the lobby. We were pleased with everything -- the service, food, and our rooms. True, the pool is undergoing renovation at this time, but what can you say? Everything has to be renovated at some time or another. Also, the surrounding area does seem a bit run down, but that was my impression of Naples in general. I would definitely stay at the Romeo again. It's a beautiful and totally comfortable hotel.
Had a wonderful stay with the family. Arranged all our plans for site visits and trips in the area.
Fabulous design and art. …
Overall, it was quite hard to find a 5star hotel in Napoli that has the full kit. We booked this hotel for two nights, coming from Capri, and thought it'd be good to end our stay here. The only reason we booked this one, in relation to my first statement about 5star hotels in Napoli, was because of the pool.
From the pictures you'll see this amazing view, the pool looks really nice and you think that you'll have this great short-city-stay.
However, as soon as we checked in (which went smoothly, and all were friendly) my husband and I ran up to the pool are as we were excited to spend time there.
The pool is really small, it is not maintained at all, it was dirty and yellow (from just being old and not well kept), there are very few sunbeds and the whole mood sort of changed when we first saw the pool, and then the actual view of just a big industrial facility.
The hotel area, its location, is not very nice, and maybe this is something that one can put aside, if the pool are would have been mirroring the pictures online.
If you are spending one or two days in the city, and want a place to sleep, sure this is a good hotel for that. But due to our experience we are not sure about the value. We paid about a lot per night, and it is simply not worth it.
However. The rooms were nice, the beds are comfortable, the breakfast was very nice but sure to us complaining about the pool, the service was cheeky.
The hotel basically responded to our critique with "we cannot build you a new pool", well... what can I say.
We directly called hotels.com and they helped us out!
We did switch the hotel, but once again, we wanted a pool suitable for a five star hotel (which the Hotel says they are) - TO BE FAIR!! I know that they are renovating and building a new pool, if I understood them correctly so in overall, this is a hotel that has the potential to become 5 star.
Waterfront hotel with a view of the dock yards and cruise ships. Hotel is very clean with modern design elements. Service is good with no issues. The waterfront is not a resort area so don't be disappointed with the location.
While it is a very nice, modern hotel, the location is not great. I did not feel safe leaving the hotel. Also, we got money stollen out of our room from hotel staff. The hotel staff denied it and could not make any accommodations to make us …
Luxurious hotel, near the harbour! nice fitness and spa at the bottom of the hotel! Helpful staff and extensive a la carte menu to eat! Suddenly we found ourselves in the elevator with the cast of Stranger Things, wonderful!
